Guess I should say something on here.
My school life is getting crazy. I need something to do besides school. I just hang out by myself everyday, which is no fun.
I am a normal human being and I enjoy doing stuff. The only problem is, I have no one to do anything with. waaaah. I wish that would change.....

Introduction
Hi to my Introduction to Electronic Media classmates. My name is Alexander Rand. Call me Alex, if you need to address me.
I am one of the two or so guys in the class with long hair. If you're trying to mentally pick me out or figure out who I am, well, here is a picture.
I am 20 years old. I have been blogging for several years now, so I am pretty comfortable with the whole song and dance.
A little about me:
I love to write. I have hundreds of pages of my thoughts archived in my other journals.
I am always drawing stupid little crap every chance I get. I am interested in art classes to develop my skills further.
I do play the guitar, and have been playing for oh about 4 years or so. I do not in any way shape or form consciously claim to be the next John Petrucci or Yngwie. I was in a metal band in Florida for awhile and we played live shows nearly every weekend. I enjoyed the experience from the initial thought to the bittersweet end. It helped me learn something about myself and the depths of my soul. These days I just keep it low and focus on school.
Anyway, I am looking forward to whatever may come of this course. It looks very promising. At least every student in here is around my age.
Oh yeah, feel free to approach me and just start talking about whatever is on your mind. I tend to keep it real, and since I just moved here from Florida, I'm looking to make some new friends.

I made the switch over to Blogspot because I couldn't stand being the only one with livejournal in this class. Lame. Theres no way to 'follow' or keep track of stuff from one site to another, so here is my blog. Hooray for me.
